Color Variants From One Shoot

Your product sells in eight colours. Shoot it once, and we generate the other seven — texture, lighting, and motion blur preserved on every frame.

Shoot Once, Ship Every Colorway

Most brands with a multi-colour product shoot it once per colour. That is one studio booking, one lighting setup, and one round of post per colourway — repeated as many times as the product has variants.

The alternative is to shoot the hero colourway properly, once, and generate the rest in post. We isolate the product, replace the colour, and keep the shading, texture, specular highlights, and motion blur that make it read as a real object rather than a flat fill.

Done well, a shopper cannot tell which colourway was the one in front of the camera. Done badly, it looks painted — which is why this is frame-by-frame compositing work, not a hue slider.

Frequently Asked Questions

We match to a Pantone code, a hex value, or a photo of the physical sample. Where a colour is not reachable from the footage you shot — a dark garment turned white, for example — we say so before quoting rather than delivering something that looks wrong.
A mid-tone, saturated one. It carries the most usable shading detail. Shooting the palest or the darkest variant as your hero makes every other colourway harder and slower.
Almost always. A variant is typically well under an hour once the first one is built, against a full studio day per colourway. At $25 per hour, and $20 at five or more videos, most catalogues pay for themselves on the first product.
Yes. We keep the isolation and tracking work on retainer plans, so a colourway added next season does not start from scratch.
